Though public health experts have consistently said the US needs to ramp up testing for coronavirus in order to contain and defeat it, President Donald Trump does not see it that way.

On Wednesday, Trump said that too much testing makes the US "look bad."

"So the media likes to say we have the most cases, but we do, by far, the most testing. If we did very little testing, we wouldn't have the most cases. So, in a way, by doing all of this testing, we make ourselves look bad," Trump said during a meeting with Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds.

Those that have the virus. When you find those people you can quarantine them immediately so they don't infect others and begin treating them. You can do the contact tracing so that you can isolate others that came into contact with them and keep them off the street/ The more people you can find that test positive and isolate them the quicker you will be able to move to re-open this country. The safer it will be to go to the grocery store, the pharmacy and other businesses.

He's got the idea that finding positive cases is bad because it increases the numbers and makes us (him) look bad. Somebody needs to take him by the scruff of his neck and tell him he is an idiot and that he doesn't understand this simple concept - and beat this concept into his pea brain.
