Hey, DU! How would you rank federal/state priorities for the fed/state administration?

My thoughts on a list. I know that every candidate had a list! I'm thinking -- what to press on as a constituent now and after elections.

- coronavirus response (fed/state)
- health insurance (fed/state)
- taxation (fed/state)
- election laws (state)
- climate (fed/state)

Your thoughts?

lives for convenience. We need to win the Senate as well as the WH and then play hard ball. Stack the SCOTUS by increasing it’s size. Eliminate the filibuster entirely. Prosecute and hold accountable the traitors.

Sure, that all sounds like a recipe for disaster, like major over-reach that will most assuredly be followed by major blow-back. But here’s the thing: the remnants of the GOP will precipitate a major blow-back to a Democratic electoral victory through any conceivable means anyway — whether we take a slow, measured approach in an attempt to build national unity or not. They are out to destroy the Democratic Party because it stands for democracy. They are out to destroy democracy. They are out to destroy us. .... In that kind of relationship, it’s either them or us. We can show forgiveness, sure, but we shouldn’t concede an ounce of power.

But of course, this won’t happen. We are too kind, thoughtful and compassionate. I am myself. But the above is how I genuinely feel in the moment. I’m pretty sure many here at DU do as well. Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately in this case, I/we don’t often act entirely in the moment.
