Trump says inviting Russia to G7 'a question of common sense'

President Trump on Wednesday defended his plans to invite Russia to the Group of Seven (G-7) summit this year despite its expulsion from the group in 2014, arguing that it's "common sense" to do so.

The president was asked on Brian Kilmeade's Fox News Radio show whether Russian President Vladimir Putin deserved to be readmitted to the group of world leaders. "It's not a question of what he’s done, it’s a question of common sense," Trump said. "We have a G-7, he’s not there. Half of the meeting is devoted to Russia and he’s not there."

Russia was expelled in 2014 from what was then the G-8 over its annexation of Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula, a territory it has yet to vacate. It has faced additional international backlash for interfering in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and poisoning a former Russian spy living in the United Kingdom.

Other G-7 leaders have given a chilly reception to Trump's idea to include Russia, noting that the country has not changed its behavior. A spokesperson for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he would veto any plan to readmit Russia to the group, while Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Russia's "continued disrespect and flaunting of international rules and norms is why it remains outside of the G-7 and it will continue to remain out."

Trump has repeatedly floated readmitting Russia to the group of world powers, arguing it would be beneficial to have Moscow at the table.

Trump has also blamed former President Obama for the annexation of Crimea.

Crazier than a shithouse rat, to think that he wanted to build Trump Tower Moscow and give Vlad the big penthouse.

Russia's GDP is 11th in the world & 61st per capita.
Common sense suggests they DON'T belong there.
Canada, with around 1/5th the people has a larger GDP. And, they're 17th per capita.
Italy is bigger in both regards too.
So, common sense says the opposite.
But, of course we figured as much.

What are two obscure definitions of the the word "common"?

Should I consider that the only definition(s) of "common" Dangerous Donnie knows is the one that means that asking Putin to the table would just be "vulgar," or that it was a case of aristocratic leadership exhibiting "inferior quality" of their best cognitive sense and judgment that Putin is unworthy of that seat at the table as opposed to Dimwit Donnie's so stable sensations of group genius in his gut?

(probably 12th now, after the oil price crash, and it's not doing great, virus-wise; South Korea will probably have a larger, though Brazil might shrink. Might even be 13th - Australia might overtake it). So why wouldn't it be in the G-7??? That's Trump Math.
