National polls do tell us something....if Biden is only leading by 1-3% nationally that means that Trump can win the EC and states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.....but if he is leading by 5-7% that means Biden is winning those aforementioned states and the EC, and also has a chance in Florida, NC, GA, Arizona, and Texas

There were 5K more votes in the Dem primary than the GOP one (both heavily contested, but the GOP had massive TV ad buys).

This is a really gerrymandered district, trying to dilute the votes in the north part of a blue city with twice as many people in the almost all-white suburbs. (There should be 2 congress district in the city, but there's only 1.)

All the GOP candidates were slavishly invoking Trump, but that apparently didn't help goose their turnout.

Hope the "enthusiasm advantage" shows up in November!
