The White Houses top economic official said the recent spike in cases of the novel coronavirus across several states is controllable, and confirmed that President Trump is opposed to national lockdown measures even if coronavirus data were to show a drastically worsening outbreak.
Larry Kudlows remarks come as new infections have surged nationwide. More than 114,000 people have died of the coronavirus in the United States. Nearly 2.1 million cases have been reported.
