So remember when Arianna Huffington's husband ran for the US Senate from California

the funniest part of his campaign was when he was caught violating a federal law that banned a person from traveling with an undocumented alien employee across state lines. The punchline, he had authored exactly one law while serving in Congress. Yep, you guessed it, it was that law. Well now, we have Jack Abramhoff, of the scandal of the late Bush years. A law, named after him, was passed to require people to say they were lobbyists, and guess who the very first person ever prosecuted under the law is, yep Jack Abramhoff. Karma.

According to her, JA resumed lobbying by hiring a surrogate to do his lobbying so he wouldn't have to register as a lobbyist. Unfortunately, his surrogate was an undercover FBI agent. I nearly cracked a rib laughing.

I remember visiting a relative out-of-state. There was a local school superintendent in the news. She'd originally gotten the job by screeching about people converting school district materials for private use. Now she was in the news -- for the same thefts herself
