'Coronavirus Surge Continues To Come From Younger People'

The annual migration of the herd will not be stopped, its the urge of the mating season, I suspect, new watering holes, and all that

Allegheny Co. Health Dept.: Coronavirus Surge Continues To Come From Younger People Traveling And Going Out

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – As Allegheny County was ordered to shut back down, the county health department released data on more than 712 new coronavirus cases it has begun to investigate.

The health department says three-fourths of new cases were among people 19 to 49 years old, with 27 being the median age.

Since June 20, there have been 31 new hospitalizations, thirteen of which happened in the last three days. Seven people were in their 20s and 30s. “The trend among new cases remains consistent,” the county says in a press release. “They are younger people who traveled out of state or who visited bars and restaurants in and around the county.”

New cases also reported traveling out of state to at least 60 different places. Popular vacation spots like Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Miami and Orlando came up, along with other places like Tampa, Clearwater, Raleigh, Youngstown, Houston and Nashville.

Chicago just put a 14 day Quarantine on both airports for arrivals from many states . I think NYC also has some rule to stop crossing states
New Mexico has had a14 day out of state quarantine at the airports for awhile and look how much better off they are compared to their neighbors TX & AZ

A lot of them are ignoring warning and still taking a family vacation. There is no reasoning with them.
We are screwed till a vaccine imo.

If you are going to Youngstown OH, good luck and be safe. I was referring many to a number of my fellow Pittsburgh travelling to beaches.

...so I'm pretty sure they're convinced they're invulnerable. I suspect they're in for a surprise.

In my district, around age 12, a lot of kids are obsessed with socialization. They stand close to each other. They huddle together. As a teacher, when you try to break up these clusters, you are met with overt hostility. It could be telling a boy or a girl to get off their phone (texting or showing a photo). It could be telling a boy or a girl to return to his/her designated seat. It could be telling them not to talk during a test or doing classwork. They don't care if you're frustrated and/or angry. You are threatening their being when you stop them from socializing. School and learning is not part of the equation.

Knowing this particular social psychology, I am not surprised by reports that CV-19 is being spread by younger people. If I can't control, neither can their parents. And without knowing personal anecdotes, I am certain these kids won't stand for being cooped up in their residences with their families and separated from their friends, who really give them their identity. All it takes is one in a group and the virus has new hosts to transport it to several homes.

They either minimize or ignore the risks of contracting the virus and spreading it. They can't see it. They aren't sick. They're bored. No problem.

Children who sought socialization and help from the tribe would be less of a burden on parents who had even younger children by that time, needing more of the parents' attention.

I suspect the artificial tamping down of the spring rut of the young adults of the herd has led to the explosion of the mid summer spawning run
