Oh My: McConnell May Not Attend GOP Convention - BUT LET'S GO BACK TO SCHOOL

🚨MCCONNELL seems uncertain about GOP convention.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told the Cincinnati Enquirer he was uncertain about attending the Republican convention next month.

“It's a challenging situation & a number of my colleagues announced they are not going to attend. And we’ll have to wait and see how things look in late August to determine whether or not you can safely convene that many people.”

In the age of Trump? If more Senators and House Republicans say they are not showing up to defend him, what is Trump to do?

Delegates who show up, risk getting COVID and spreading it elsewhere. Tulsa is seeing a spike in cases now since his rally there. Phoenix is exploding right now.

Quite a few have decided they want to go to heaven. Just not in August.

So they’ll take a pass on their in person convention. Maybe a Zoom meeting?? That holds a lot more promise. They will have to pick their words carefully regarding back to school plans if they opt out of an in person convention.

I think this is a signal to Trump. We will let you get beat by historic margins.
