with how much Fauci has been wrong with the whole list of things printed out. Most health experts have been wrong on things like masks, a symptomstic spread, etc. This is an itemized list. Experts say Fauci has been right more often than the politicians. US responce under Trump is more like a failed state's responce. Don't let them scapegoat Fauci. CNN

(115,280 posts)which doesn't seem to be doing anything anyhow, but since Fauci wasn't a presidential appointee in the first place he's probably protected by Civil Service. Of course, Trump can torment and discredit him like he's done with others, but I don't think he can kick him out of his government job altogether.

(24,355 posts)We have all been basically learning as we go. Well, some of us, anyway. Of course, Trump and his minions just use any perceived mistakes or errors as a reason to dunk on the experts while spreading disinformation and propaganda that has actually made things worse.

(53,475 posts)They, trump/the admin, are the ones who have made mistake after mistake on the pandemic response.
I mean who is it who gets together in that WH and brainstorms on strategies to shift the blame to someone else. It was China last week. Now it's Fauci.
It won't work. 130k deaths and counting is on trump and his admin. No one else. We can all see how Europe, Australia and Asia have all gotten up and down their virus curve and flattened it and we're on our second spike with no national plan still because we didn't flatten the first curve.
Most voters are not stupid.

(2,196 posts)And team up with Joe. Start telling it like it is without having to tiptoe around the truth. People long for someone that they can trust-Dr Fauci can still be that person, I think.

Plus the Trump campaign must fear him quitting and serving as Bidens advisor.
