(146,192 posts)I get a small refund from the state, but had to move some money from savings to checking to cover what I owe the IRS.
They'll drag it out of the bank today or tomorrow. No time wasted when they are getting money. Not so good on refunds, though.
TurboTax went up in price again this year, damn them. I keep using it because it does half of the work from last year's returns. But, still, if you're self-employed, they make you buy the most expensive version. Just to fill out a couple of Schedule Cs.
Oh, well. Death and taxes, I guess.

(33,643 posts)I was thinking "Wow, it's already April again?"
Feels like the last 3 months have been about a year long, so ... it made sense for a second.
This year was actually the first time in my ENTIRE LIFE I filed well before April. And like 95% of the time, it's been the 15th or later ... sometimes much later.
2002-2005 I filed I think in 2011.
