Congressman John Lewis's Congressional Seat...

I apologize if this too sensative...because it is...but I keep thinking...What will happen to his congressional seat? Gov. Kemp is a trumpian republican...does he fill the seat? Do we have a Democrat to run in the Georgia 5th District...? Hard to keep tabs on everything...

Again, I apologise for poor timing...RIP Congressman Lewis...

of the district. And then as CincyDem noted, there will be a special election to fill his seat. But in the meantime, the seat will remain vacant.

showed that Abrams lives in Atlanta, and that quite a bit of Atlanta is in this congressional district, so I suppose it is possible.

House seats are decided by a special election or left vacant if the next election is close.

However, one will most certainly make a spectacle of running for it.
