I wouldn't trust this guy any further than I could throw him!
"Kasich is one of a number of high-profile Republicans who intend to work against Trumps re-election in the closing days of the campaign, according to the AP. John Weaver, a senior strategist for Kasichs 2016 presidential campaign, co-founded the Lincoln Project, a group that is already airing anti-Trump TV ads. In addition, ex-Ohio GOP Chair Matt Borges, a Kasich ally, has formed a pro-Biden super PAC."

(15,587 posts)I keep thinking about the whole ridiculous notion, for example, that there's no nexus between big money campaign contributions from corporations and mega-millionaires/billionaires and policy.

(36,226 posts)As a lifelong democratic woman this pisses me the fuck off. Ask Kasich to make an ad for Biden, but don't give him a place on our stage. We have energetic, young dems who deserve a spot on our national stage, at our national convention more than some retired, anti-choice, white male republican.

(15,587 posts)a piece of my mind. This is like kicking a substantial number of Democrats in the teeth.
Not to mention we don't need Kasich. We got this on our own. He and the Lincoln Project folks are just looking to curry favor. Where were they 4 years ago. For that matter, the past twenty years?!

Agree that I will vote Biden no matter what, but this makes me think that Biden thinks the repubs in Congress will work with him & he is naïve if he thinks that. They will obstruct him every bit as much as they obstructed Obama. We are not going back to pre-Gingrich politics, not until something drastic changes in this country.
Thank you for writing! We need to bomb them. Maybe they have an FB page, as well.
