Trumps were broke in 2015. Here's how I know.

I am President of a company that sells technology based services to businesses. in 2015 we were approached by a company called 21st Century TV to produce an infomercial. Common marketing strategy. Their claim to fame was that the host of the infomercial would be non-other than Donald J. Trump, Jr. They also would send on site a videographer that would do customer interviews.

We would then go to a professional studio for a day and shoot an in studio interview with a host. It would then be placed on Bloomberg and we would get the content to use in our promotions. Trump was to have been the host, but he canceled when the campaign started. We did it with another host.

The whole thing was less than 20k. The host not only has to be there for the half day shoot but prepare and practice questions. I canít imagine it would be more than a $3K to $5K payday for Trump. OK if you are a B list talking head, but this the supposed son of a billionaire. ???.

Her is an example of the work he was doing.

3. This only aired one time on Bloomberg at 3 AM. We just did it for the content.

2. Probably just a low-risk vehicle for Jr. to break into on-camera stuff.

Happens all the time - Brian Williams' son is a host on a show on SNY (very local NY sports network) that my wife directs from time to time.

Don Jr. probably just wanted to work his way up and start his own brand with the hopes of becoming a Fox News host or something and to differentiate himself from the rest of the family.

5. Makes more sense than he needed the payday.

Dunno, just my opinion - you have yours.
