Can drumpf be charged with manslaughter for intentionally downplaying the virus directly Leading to deaths? I know you cant charge a president simply because people died from something legitimately beyond their control, but everything indicates he not only botched the response but literally tried on purpose to hinder it which directly lead to more deaths than were necessary.
Manslaughter?

(14,732 posts)for successfully prosecuting and proving gross negligence is extremely high, so high as to be almost impractical except in the most obvious cases. So practically speaking, I doubt it.

(2,173 posts)A jury could determine that Trump's actions led by Jared's contributions (it will only affect blue states) contributed XX% to the wrongful deaths, Let's just 25% of the reason was the pair.
Let's say that the actual costs (hospital, funeral, etc), lost wages, pain and suffering are $1 million per person (on the low end for these types of suits, but many of the victims were older). That would put them on the hook for $250,000 per person multiply that by the 500,000 who will be dead when he leaves office and you would have Jared and Don Sr on the hook for $1,250,000,000,000 if all the families signed on to the class action law suit. Let's say only 10% sign up, that would still be 125 billion.
If I were a class action lawyer, I would be thinking about where I might be able to start this lawsuit.
