We should have panicked. If all of us did, we might have all worn masks and reduced the death toll by taking the pandemic seriously.

4. We panicked more because the president and the government was/is lying to us

We are seeing deaths around us while they keep telling us everything is fine. So we panicked more and distrust a lot of people and things around us. It's every man/woman for him/herself.

We should have been united to fight against the virus and we could have come out on top like other countries did. Instead, we became one of the worst hit country in the world.
