If there is one thing true about trump its that he is all about the cash. Transactional is the term for him, so his reason for denial of covid has to be about money. He only went the down play tactic when it became obvious that he couldnt deny reality any longer.
Being transactional to a fault, ya gotta wonder what cash exposure he had that he needed to correct before the covid truth came out. Its one thing to trade on insider information, thats illegal. Is it illegal to create a condition in which you are the information, so to speak? People who are far smarter than I am might want to look at the proper dark corners. Just thinking out loud here. But if I remember correctly there was a flurry of actions he was involved in across the world trying to corner covid 19 treatments. I guess Im wrong of course, no one could be that evil.

Pete Rose, the player, was as much a lock for first-ballot Hall of Fame as anyone ever. Pete Rose, the manager, bet on his team, the Reds, when certain pitchers were starting (and probably when some position players were on the bench).
This behavior doesn't fly in sports, so Rose needs a ticket to see the HOF.
Donald Trump's inaction has killed and will kill about half a million Americans by the time a vaccine comes out. These are people he said he'd protect. And somehow, 35-40% of those polled said they'd support the lying rat bastard.
