Her grandparents, both sets, came to America from Jamaica.

To me, his way of singing it took it to another level. Like a novel that needed another chapter to help tell the full story. If that makes sense.

Of course the fact that MLK came to JA in 1965 is also part of this history.
MLK spoke in the same Assembly Hall at UWI (Mona) in 1965 as did Obama in 2016.

Toots was as important to the Windrush community in England as was our West Indies cricket team. He gave them an identity.
