That's going to be a very helpful boost...Link to tweet
If you haven't seen it yet, I watched on Amazon Prime (you'll have to search for it) this weekend. Lots of diverse voices, but I found the psychiatrists and historians (especially those bringing the Fascism comparisons) most interesting. Not much will come as new to avid DUers, but I'm really glad to see this material get out there

(5,580 posts)Whoever didn't know that Donald Trump was going to be a train wreck plus a monsoon plus a category five hurricane plus an F5 tornado all wrapped in one ...and then wrapped in Covid when he STOLE the election was just wearing blinders.
I certainly didn't and don't need a film
(And have to watch him) to tell me about his UNFITness.
It was a NO BRAINER!

(101,713 posts)and I was happy to shell out my $5.99 (apparently the cost has come down to $4.99 to stream now) to support this effort on the part of 100s of psychiatrists, historians, and others to try to bring along the ignorant remaining part of the population.

(121 posts)Every person on this forum, and every thinking person in general, knew decades ago that Trump was unfit for anything more complicated than begging groceries, no offense to grocery baggers. Unfortunately, films like this preach to the choir.
The more insane, unhinged, treasonous and unfit he is, the more devoted to him his supporters become, and those "undecided voters" who are still not sure after everything that has happened in the last four years who they should vote for are not going to vote for Biden/Harris.
A supporter of his said it succinctly back in April when interviewed by a Guardian reporter: We sent him to Washington to crap on the carpet, throw the furniture against the wall and kick every shin in sight, and he has done everything we wanted him to do in the process of destroying the federal government, so we will vote for him again in even larger numbers.
It is terribly tragic, but this is the reality we are facing. We need to spend all our time and energy on registering voters and making sure they vote and not spend any time on anything else in the next few weeks.
