Is the latest proposal a greater than $2 trillion package?

2. Thanks. From what I understand it is 1.5 trillion. I think it may be bad optics to reject it

How many in the media have asked McConnell why he won’t make a deal? Republicans get a pass. You think we would have learned something after the biased way Hillary has been treated.

7. First off, it isn't really bipartisan. 25 D and 25 R House members is meaningless.

Most of the compromise comes from Ds caving on the Heroes Act, which already passed the House with hundreds of votes and approval of House leadership. It gives companies a liability pass on their employees contracting COVID in the workplace. Bad idea. It provides $450 a week for 8 weeks in UI benefits, then goes up to $600. Ds will never go for the $450 and Rs will never go for the $600.

I’d say it’s DOA except for the fact that it won’t even arrive.
