Trump: 'I'm so angry at Republicans'

Donald Trump said Monday he was furious with Republicans in Washington for not doing enough to take up his unsubstantiated claims about former Obama administration officials and Hunter Biden.

“Does anything happen? Nothing happens,” Trump said at an event in Dayton, Ohio. “I’m so angry at Republicans. I am. I’m so angry. I am so angry, but a lot of things are happening.”

For months, Trump has tried to spur sweeping investigations into President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden over insinuations about the FBI’s surveillance of Trump campaign associates that he’s dubbed “Obamagate.”

Those calls had largely gone unheeded by Republicans who control the Senate until they nabbed a foothold recently after the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee voted to authorize more than three dozen subpoenas and depositions to compel testimony from former FBI Director James Comey and others.

Obama investigating his campaign for actively working with a foreign foe was treason.

But him investigating Biden is OK.

Got it. Just trying to keep the hypocrisy straight. There is so much of it that I can easily lose track.

I see these comments as more attempts to distract and confuse people.

Trump says, I'm angry at republicans.

Individual republicans now wonder if he really means him/her. So now they'll rush to his side to affirm their love and devotion.

Trump's ego gets stroked as republicans scurry about doing whatever it is that will make him happy. Even if it's only some noise about some bullshit grievance Trump imagined.

Trump says he's angry at republicans when speaking at his followers. If Trump is angry, maybe they should be angry too.

All those voters now angry at republicans.

Republicans need those voters.

Trump owns those voters - their hearts and minds belong to him.

Those republicans now need to appease Trump to appease his followers.

The ego of the Great Leader needs stroking, so everyon falls over telling him how great he is and how much his wisdom is valued.

There's more than 2.5 times as many registered independents in the Dayton OH area as Democrats and Republicans COMBINED!
