I don't understand why the polling gap isn't bigger

Granted, we live in SE PA, but in a working class area where yard signs for Trump were everywhere (and HUGE) in 2016. We drove around Levittown the other day just to count signs. Not a whole lot of Biden signs--we Biden supporters are afraid of what the Trumpers will do--I think we counted four. Only *one* Trump sign in a region which was gung-ho Trump last time around.

Lots of signs for Rep. Ryan Fitzpatrick, every one of them saying "voted most independent".

I guess W PA is so strong for Trump that that's enough to explain why the difference is only 9 points. It's sad to think of so many people with their heads up their asses.

9 points in most states is a landslide. I'd take PA by 9 on Nov 3 in a heartbeat and have a shit eating grin on my face that would require plastic surgery to remove.

They were so all in on Trump that they can't not vote for him. A sign of intelligence is to admit when you are/were wrong and take steps to correct it.

Trump will always have his MAGA morons who don't give a damn about what he does or says. But if Democrats get out and vote it won't matter what Trump says or does or how the MAGA morons react. We just need to get through the next 35 days or however many it is and turnout in record numbers.

Biden is unlikely to win by 9 points in Pennsylvania. Too many Americans think Trump is good for the economy. This is actually Trump's biggest con. Separately, I have been watching the USC Dornsife poll and Biden's lead has been shrinking a lot the last few days. It is a national poll but i still do not like the trend. We had some other good polls yesterday but they were in the field a few days ago.

Here is Dornslife...And what you say is not supported. The far right column (Dornslife +8D) represents the difference from 16 as compared to 20 which is represented by (+10). This means in 16, the polls were at +2.

I have no idea why every bit of good new is met by you with posts that as far as I can see are not accurate and doom and gloom. Sure anything could happen but the data is very positive for Joe and that is not reflected in your posts. I would go so far as to call them misleading.

Plus the media wants it closer to make more money. I don't trust any poll numbers anymore. They are being used as propaganda .

I don’t know if that is really true, but it would help explain things.
