Told my wife this morning I was going to go over amount I had pledged to give. I also told her if it wasn't OK I would reach in my personal stash. She said, no I've got no problem but tell me why. I went on to tell her I would feel terrible when Joe was elected to not give him the Senate he needs to fix America.
My final list was Hegar, Greenfield, Ossoff, Bullock, Bollier, Jones and Espy Just because it was right. I also gave to food banks earlier prompted by a two to one match by my former employer. Probably 5 times as much as I've ever given. But as a failed pResident said. What have you got to lose?

For your contributions since I can't afford to. As a Montana voter, I am thankful people are seeing that Bullock would be an asset for a lot of policy that needs to pass. He has the chops and should represent us in DC. He and Tester would be a good team.

(86,045 posts)hair on the back of my neck standing up permanently I fear. I meant to say in the above comment that I can't afford to do much this time and am thankful for the generosity of those who can and do.
I can say that I met Bullock at a recent rally, only spoke briefly but he was genuine like most Montanans are. If it weren't for the pandemic, our conversation would have been longer and more in depth, I have a lot I would like to discuss with him. I can wait until after the election. He's always been approachable, as is Tester, so I feel I can voice my concerns later... many of which involve public lands use and protections.
I've already voted so I am a little less stressed because I have recorded my voice now, I just hope it's a landslide of epic proportions all they way to county dog catcher.

We have far exceeded our plans on what we would give. We also included food banks.
Funny thing is covid is restricting our movements and dining choices, so we are saving a bundke staying home. Most of that went to democratic candidates.

I have given in-state here, as well as to Harrison in SC and Bullock in MT. I met Gov. Bullock when he was running in the Dem primary (they all come through IA), and I would have caucused for him if he had remained in the race....
I also give to food banks and dropped a bag of goods this morning to our food shelter here in my small town. If I remember to, every time I go grocery shopping, I buy an extra bag to drop off to the food shelter or food pantries.
