hands and face discolorations?
So far I've only seen pics of Mitch here on DU.
Has anyone reported on this in the MSM?

(1,261 posts)It generally takes a day or two for things to filter out to the mainstream sources for various reasons (looking for confirmation, preplanned show layout, stories that are considered bigger, etc).

(35,143 posts)I am sure the media would be jumping all over it. Everything you see on DU is not fact, I saw a picture that is supposed to be McTurtle
from the chest down, that could have been anyone.

(5,491 posts)While he seems healthy because he has access to the best medical care in the world, I'm sure he has health issues.
He had a triple bypass 18 years ago. I'm not sure what the shelf life is on those. But he probably takes blood thinners. And he probably takes statins to keep cholesterol down, which have a side effect of weakening leg muscles. He has kept his weight down so that's a positive for him.
As far as his mental state goes, who knows. He doesn't talk much publicly. And when he does, he mumbles.
Again, he's 78. Very few make it to that age without needing some sort of medical maintenance.
