Why it's hard to talk to trumpers

One reason anyway, is that they have no idea what trump is doing. They really don't. They pretty much just attack Democrats, which is the telltale sign they are thoroughly brainwashed. RW media will never let go of their minions.

1. Trumpers hate our guts and want us to suffer

They bought all the lies and half truths being parroted to them. It's very hard to get them to see reason.

2. It is easier to fool someone than it is to convince them that they have been fooled.

3. Brainwashed, and cognitively rigid...

Trumpers bought into him early on, accepting him as like themselves and assigning him the role of their savior. They have very little ability to shift conceptually, to adjust their hardened internal beliefs to external realities despite overwhelming evidence. They simply can't consider that they were wrong, because to them as with Trump, that's a sign of weakness...and weakness is contemptible in their sight.

4. Trumpers as a group have all the characteristics of a malignant Narcissist. We've talked

a lot about how Donny Bodybags is a narcissist, but his followers are too.

HE is THEIR narcissistic supply, just as they are his. He makes them feel like they are superior to everyone else. He gives them purpose and importance.

Their enjoyment of liberal horror, their hatred of women and people of color, their willful ignorance of facts, their gaslighting, their refusal to acknowledge the experiences of others, their behavior as if other people are unimportant objects that can be used or discarded as desired, all of these things are the signs of entrenched malignant narcissism.

They are all a big cauldron of narcissistic glop.

6. They are in a bubble, Fox News and the posts they read on social media. They get a

feeling of belonging with their Trump flags and Trump Trains.
