Tonight on PBS Frontline - The Choice: Trump vs. Biden

In the midst of a historic coronavirus pandemic that has now killed 225,000 people in the U.S., Americans are deciding who will lead the nation for the next four years: President Donald Trump or former Vice President Joe Biden.

Tonight on PBS, one week before Election Day, don't miss an encore presentation of The Choice 2020: Trump vs. Biden — the newest installment of FRONTLINE’s landmark election-year series, featuring interwoven investigative biographies of Trump and Biden that trace how they have responded in moments of crisis throughout their lives.

Drawing on in-depth interviews with sources close to both candidates, this two-hour documentary from filmmaker Michael Kirk and his team illuminates how the challenges that shaped both men could inform how they confront the crises now facing the country.

Critics have praised the documentary’s insights and positioned it as must-watch pre-election viewing — calling the film "a public service” that has “never been more important” (TV Worth Watching) and that “presents the lives of Biden and Trump in ways that may surprise people” (Deadline).

I watched this when it aired earlier this year. Few surprises, but worth watching anyway.
