For the first time in 11 Presidential elections I've voted in I am wearing a candidate's gear.

A Biden Hat. Never felt the need before. Why? I asked myself and the answer was surprising.

I’m a 54 year old white dude. Southern. I fish, hunt, obviously own guns, drive a truck, wear boots and wranglers. And while only 5’11” am not small. Not fat but as we say down here, stout.

If you saw me getting out of my rig at Publix you would expect me to be trump supporter. Most like me do support him.

I just wanted people to know that guys like me can be social democrats and proud members of the Democratic Party. Ridiculous? The wife certainly thinks so! But I want people to know guys like me are sometimes Democrats.

Sorry for the crazy post. Had an incident at Publix yesterday that moved me to make this post.

Y’all have a nice Sunday. We are taking the boat to the gulf for a week of fishing and beach life. No matter what happens Tuesday, I will be fishing on the gulf. Life goes on.

former district) of NC maybe looked like you. He had a grizzly beard, drove a truck, clothes like you, real country boy with accent to match, and had a bumper sticker on his older truck: “Old white guys for Obama”

He helped a lot with things related to my mom, and took me to the airport once when I was returning home to CA. Got a pic of him by his truck because I loved it so much. I had told him he had a lot of courage and he said, “hell, it’s a chick magnet”

He’s gone now, but sure glad I got that photo.

Have a great evening.

And I’m not old. Although getting there. Only thing 54.

I don’t think I have an accent. For some reason others disagree.

My oldest son is a democrat and a biker. All his friends at the bar he runs are Trumpies and they assume he is too. A couple seemed shocked to discover I'm a lib. I think they believe only city dwellers and so called "urban" people are democrats.

I love my "Trump is a Fraud and a Failure" bumper sticker, but it's on a magnet. I learned that the hard way.
