Any chance we could convince Susan Collins to join the Democratic party? (Original Post) Alhena Nov 2020 OP
NO, and it goes against everything we have seen from her to think she would even consider it JI7 Nov 2020 #1
Would we want her even if she'd do it? The Velveteen Ocelot Nov 2020 #2
We'd have a better chance with Lindsey Graham. Maybe he'll suck up to Biden. nt chowder66 Nov 2020 #3

She is a Right Winger and if she was from a red state she would be as bad as others .

What the fuck for? In no way would she be welcome. Her stance as a moderate has proven to be a sham and her vote for Kavanaugh is unforgivable. No thank you. (Feeling a little raw this morning).

I read recently that she considered running as an independent recently. Here's a link:

Also, what if Biden gives her a cabinet position? Maine has a Dem governor. How would her replacement be chosen?

One last thing. She might still lose. Only 68% has reported in her race, for some strange reason. She's currently at 49.4%, and there's ranked choice voting in Maine.
