Just wondering what they are feeling now. They invested a lot time and money into trying to defeat Trump, especially in FL as did Bloomberg. FL is still leaving a question in my mind. Somehow I just don't believe the Dems didn't do better.

(31,261 posts)I just believe that our voters need to become more strategic. Trump was telegraphing constantly that he was going to turn the Post Office into a clusterfuck, yet people still mailed ballots in the last three weeks of the election, instead of taking them to the Elections Department Dropbox just before the office opened Monday through Friday.

(57,073 posts)Hopefully Judge Sullivan will be able to remedy this.
Sorry I don't have a link, but the results of the hearing today was posted on DU earlier.

(31,261 posts)This election has to leave a bad taste in their mouths, they got Trump, but his collaborators that were up for re-election or first timers fared pretty well - so they still have work to do.

(31,261 posts)it develops more industry, either big financial services, hi tech (biotech, innovative materials, medicine development and manufacture, ect. Those things will keep young people on the state that now finish up and go to places like California or Texas, even to the Atlanta and Athens areas. Florida universities have been slow about seeding that type of change, much slower that some universities in Georgia.
Right now, the young people that stay in the state in large numbers work in low level service jobs and trades (electrical, Heating and A/C, or in Law (mostly accident and liability), Fire/EMT and law enforcement. Unfortunately, in this state, those types tend to tilt more conservative.

A bit morose, and like here, were disappointed it wasn't a landslide repudiation of T. At one point, they seemed to realize there is no repub party any more, no center-right party remaining, Conservatism is dead. Then came a new resolve. They're not going away.
At the point I'm watching now Biden announced he would speak and they're betting T won't speak publicly. Then Steele came on and knocked them upside the head, beer in hand, as in, get real, look at the numbers, we're going to win and he will be out.
Worth watching, if only as a study of how they think and react. A lot of respect and praise for Democrats too.
