https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-election-results-strategy/2020/11/11/a32e2cba-244a-11eb-952e-0c475972cfc0_story.htmlBy Philip Rucker, Josh Dawsey and Ashley Parker November 11, 2020 at 8:23 p.m. EST
Trump aides, advisers and allies said there is no grand strategy to reverse the election results, which show President-elect Joe Biden with a majority of electoral college votes, as well as a 5 million-vote lead in the national popular vote.
Asked about Trumps ultimate plan, one senior administration official chuckled and said, Youre giving everybody way too much credit right now.
Republican officials have scrambled nationwide to produce evidence of widespread voter fraud that could bolster the Trump campaigns legal challenges, but no such evidence has surfaced. And Bidens lead in several states targeted by the Trump campaign has expanded as late-counted votes are reported. In all-important Pennsylvania, the Democrat now leads by more than 50,000 votes.
Trump has also raised the idea of pressuring state legislators to pick electors favorable to him, in the hope that could offer a viable path to an electoral college victory, though most of his advisers are warning against such a tactic.
Bottom line: He's a terrified toddler, and no one will make him take a time-out.

Both political parties aren't sweet on the idea of running a candidate to win as a "lame duck".

Trumps Too much trouble for republicans to want to run again. I can see the GOP changing the rules, if need be to keep him out.
