They'd sit his ass down and dangle Amendment 25 in front of his face and tell him he has two choices: Concede, allowing the transition to move forward at full speed, or be removed from office.

And then do it.

A) Only a few minutes before you re-direct that child's attention away from his/her frustration. Or give a time-out.

B) Let the fire burn itself out, i.e., indefinitely until the child has finished his/her tantrum.

The Republican senator from Colorado is Cory Gardner, and he just lost re-election, so it will likely do no good to contact him.

Tantrumps are entirely the domain of entitled children who have full emotional control over their enablers.

Except for two Senators, everyone up for reelection got reelected.

That is the takeaway from this travesty. They are answerable to the voters, and apparently these particular voters have no issue with failure to exercise oversight powers.

Billy Mumy and I are almost the same age, and he was 7 years old when that episode came out. WTH were my parents thinking letting me watch The Twilight Zone when I was that age???!!!
