a lot of it is "Thanksgiving traffic" --- people trying to get tested before flying home. Many I see on the lines are youngish.

There's a City MD office near our apartment and the line goes around the block. It's been like that for weeks so I'm not certain it has anything to do with the holidays.

There's another testing center near Bear Mountain in NY State. It's a drive-thru facility that one can see from the Palisades Parkway. It's usually got lots of cars lined up.

Anecdotal observations, obviously.

And failed. Tried10 sites. Will start calling again today. I have minor symptoms but I have improved so I think it was food poisoning. I had a test a month ago because of fever after calling advice nurse who told me to get a test (negative) and got a test within 8 hours. It’s bad.
