It's been a good day. We already had all the fixin's in house, so it was just preparation and cleanup. As per usual, too much food was cooked. Sorry, I can't cook "down." I came from a family of 8 and there were always guests at the table. Fortunately, we have 2 freezers and plenty of storage containers, so nothing was wasted.
Health-wise I'm feeling ok. A little tired, and am developing some burning in the center of my chest with a cough. I don't ache. I don't have a fever. My O2 sats are the mid 90s. So don't know if it's just reaction to leaf mold or what. We facetimed the kids, my sister, my brother and friends. I know some are lamenting not being able to see family. Honestly, it was kind of refreshing it just being us and the dachshund. Several neighbors decided to buck recommendations, and from the number of cars in front of their houses, it was obvious they were having big gatherings. I'm sure it's probably been that way everywhere. We all know the numbers are going to rise as a result, and that just makes me profoundly sad.
So tomorrow I'm supposed to get my test results. Based on the relatively short length of exposure, how long it's been, etc., I'm assuming they'll be negative. Trying to stay positive and keep on keeping on. In the meantime, I wish each and every one of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your turkey breast was juicy, your gravy was lump-free and the pie was delicious!
