Trump spent part of his Thanksgiving asking aides if he really lost

Yet even that incomplete surrender was short-lived. Trump went on to falsely claim that he “won,” that the election was “a total scam” and that his legal challenges would continue “full speed ahead.” He spent part of Thanksgiving calling advisers to ask if they believed he really had lost the election, according to a person familiar with the calls. “Do you think it was stolen?” the person said Trump asked on the holiday.

But, his advisers acknowledged, that was largely noise from a president still coming to terms with losing. As November was coming to a close, Biden rolled out his Cabinet picks, states certified his wins, electors planned to make it official when the electoral college meets Dec. 14 and federal judges spoke out.

A simple and clear refutation of the president came Friday from a Trump appointee, when Judge Stephanos Bibas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit wrote a unanimous opinion rejecting the president’s request for an emergency injunction to overturn the certification of Pennsylvania’s election results.

It was at a youth mental health facility being built out.
It was explained to me that the room was for kids who were completely out of control in an incident.
The director told me that when they land in there, the patient is so out of hand that they are in restraints by the time they reach that room. It's a temporary situation.

Good one!

Also, the muffled voice of Obama's portrait will speak to him, wherever he hid it... Softly at first, but louder and louder every day, as January 20th draws nearer... Slowly driving him mad!

him all along. Whoever talks to him last is what he believes, so he's started doing it to himself. He gets the truth from someone he knows he should trust, but then runs to OAN or talks to Hannity, and they tell him what he wants to believe.

The facts were indisputable: President Trump had lost.
But Trump refused to see it that way. Sequestered in the White House and brooding out of public view after his election defeat, rageful and at times delirious in a torrent of private conversations, Trump was, in the telling of one close adviser, like “Mad King George, muttering, ‘I won. I won. I won.’?”

That's just the first chapter. It goes on to explain the horror and damage done by Trump to our electoral system, which I'll point out was sanctioned by and large by a vast majority of elected Republicans. They hitched their wagons to an insane egomaniac for their end goals (tax cuts for the wealthy and cramming the courts with conservative picks) no matter the damage they did to the core of our system. The stood united in their goals, and they remained focused on lower ticket races. We'll be dealing with the horrors they've instilled on us for a generation, or more.

That's if our system holds that long. I'm not convinced it will. Our lack of focus and inability to critically think has been exposed as a major fault in our society. Too many people are willing to ignore reality just to be a part of their peer group they've chosen. That's not something one just can slap a bandaid on and move on. It's a gushing wound in need of major surgery. We're in a triage stage now, but we could easily still lose the patient who is in a critical state.
