The staggered early departures are another anti-transition move

Esper, Chao, and Devos, Barr and the many other early resignations leave gaping holes in the puzzle of the activities of the Trump administration.

It will take a massive forensic effort to ramp up and then root out the disloyal people installed in federal agencies to undermine the government.

Some are easy to find—like Barr’s daughter at the IRS and Dejoy at the Postal Service. But many more are unknowns. Dejoy abruptly fired 33 tenured postal executives replacing them overnight with less knowledgeable people to say the least.

There’s no telling who has been appointed in agencies like the EPA, FCC and the Department of Agriculture and the rest.

Biden will be in unprecedented territory when he assumes office. I hope that he appoints someone to oversee federal government agencies as a whole to restore their integrity and passes a law to keep the integrity in place in line with the sworn oath taken by every federal employee.

The reason I’m so happy Biden is appointing people with experience, because they understand the US government rules. DeJoy was appointed by a 6 person Postal Commission all appointed by Trump because McConnell blocked Obama from appointing anyone. How can we replace everyone on this postal commission? Does winning the Senate mean Democrats can purge certain commissions? I know my late husband worked at FERC and I’ve heard Trump loaded up loyalists rather than keeping it bipartisan. My husband really felt Obama should have cleansed the ranks. I do think Biden gets it.

documented with a paper trail (SF52) by OPM. All the political appointees have are on a different schedule than garden variety civil servants like I was. The current head of OPM won't meet with Neera Tanden, the incoming OPM head and that could slow things down, but it will be easy enough to ID all the Trump appointees and hires over the last 4 years.

I have doubts though because it’s not just the direct appointees that are problematic. It’s those like the 33 replacements by Dejoy who may have ulterior motives but could fly under the radar.

I am just not certain that lingering loyalists can be identified among the thousands of valid personnel actions during this administration.

I'm sure there's a database that can be organized, then queried. It's been many years now, but even I was able to figure out how to do this.

Much has been written about the anger of Trump losers. Just because good Americans are not violent that does not mean their passion to restore an honest government is not deep. The bad guys will be outed.
