Who to pull for?
Being a long time 50+ year Cowboy fan, I have had to, for many years, learn to find a reason for pulling for a super bowl winner.
Usually find something that helps me cheer one team over another. Some times are more difficult. But NOTHING could be more difficult than being a reasonable GOP fan (????) and having to choose between Rubio and Princess Trump. I know, reasonable GOP as likely as big foot and unicorns. But those two clowns. Rubio Bible quoting, Ivanka carting her prop Bible in a &3,000 purse. Jesus F**king Christ. (Can he actually do that?)

1. Do what I do when the Cowboys play the Eagles.
Root for injuries.
Go Washington! ![]() on edit: I never actually root for players to get hurt, but fuck Dallas and Philly! |

2. Ditto
To the Washington Foreskins.
We both have asshole owners that fucked our teams up. Not sure how much more I can take. I did get a little giddy over Theisman having his leg in two directions.😊 |

3. It couldn't have been as much fun as watching Drew Pearson puke his guts out on MNF!

4. Nah,
Theisman was more fun, and lasting.

5. I guess we're wired differently.
Pearson got embarrassed. Joe suffered an excruciatingly painful career-ending trauma.
I wouldn't wish that on Staubach, Danny White, or even Troy Fucking Aikman. |

6. Did not wish anything
It happened. I did not cheer like Philly fans when they thought they paralyzed Irvin. No I did not really get happy when it happened, against Joe, but if someone tells me they cheered for injuries when Dallas and Philly plays, kinda hit a nerve. Sorry for harsh reply.
Neither of us have much to be chirping about being both teams have sucked since billionaires wanted to play coach. Good luck to ya. Washington looks like they may contend way before Jerry’s world will have a chance. Hard to stomach Jones. At least you don’t have to see or hear Snyder much. |

7. No problem. I actually got to know Joe a little bit ...
as a neighbor, and through Little League (both of our oldest kids were All-Stars together), and also as a regular at his Bailey's Crossroads, VA restaurant, so I might have over-reacted.
As for our respective owners, I'd pick Jerry over Snyder. Jerry took a proud franchise and kept it proud, at least for a while. Danny-boy took a proud franchise and drove it right into the shitter. |
