We do not know what it will be? We cannot predict the actions of a madman.
But, we know there is a pattern. Each time he gets away with something, he goes for a bigger prize.
As soon as he won the nomination for the Presidency, he decided to take charge. He had General Flynn talking with the Russian before he was ever inaugurated. He was not yet President. But everybody coddled him. He was just "unconventional". He would grow into the job, they said.
Then when a Special Counsel was named to investigate what role Russia played in our election of 2016, he ignored all laws and norms to obstruct the investigation. There were a reported ten separate incidents of obstruction of justice, according to the Mueller Report.
Then, when his self-picked Attorney General, William Barr, declared him innocent of all charges in the Mueller Report, the very next day he was on the phone with the new President of Ukraine, attempting to bribe him to get dirt on Joe Biden, who he thought would be his next political opponent. He was impeached by the House of Representatives for his illegal behavior.
Each time he got more and more daring. He blatantly interfered with election officials in several states and accused his opponents of "rigged" elections. He lied to his supporters over and over again. He built a network of shady right-wing characters, such as QAnon, 3Percenters, the OathKeepers, and other white-supremacists groups. He said he had all the "tough" people. He encouraged all of them to come to Washington on January 6th, 2021. He knew who was going to show up and what they were capable of doing. He told them to walk down to the Capitol, when the plan was for them to stay at the Ellipsis until the vote was over. He said he would go with them.
So, we saw what happened and we saw what he did and didn't do. None of it would have happened if not for him. He invited them to come to a "wild" event. He incited them to go to the Capitol. Then he sat and watched TV and did nothing as they were terrorizing those inside the Capitol.
If he gets another chance, he will do more damage. And it could be much worse than anything we have seen up to this point. There is a pattern there.

(3,461 posts)This is what comes of pardoning Nixon, not impeaching Reagan and not prosecuting W. They always come back worse because they always get away with it.
