1. A priest, a rabbi and a lawyer are stranded on a desert island.
It's close enough to shore -- and civilization -- to swim; however between there and shore is shark infested waters.
The priest volunteers to swim, in order to ask for help for those left on the island. He is immediately devoured by sharks. The rabbi, also being a man of god, volunteers to swim. He is also devoured by the sharks. The lawyer, all alone, figured he might as well try -- and makes it to shore. No shark attacks. Zilch. Nada. When asked why the sharks let him through his answer was simple: "Professional courtesy." I related this joke to OJ Simpson's civil attorney ( I was cooking for a party for him at the time.) He wasn't amused. |

3. Maybe that's why the lawyers performed
so poorly? Maybe they wanted to lose the vote on constitutionality.

5. It wouldn't. Wouldn't help Trump, anyway.
I was responding to a post that said that one of Trump's lawyers had sued him a year ago. My comment was more a half hearted joke than a real suggestion, e.g. if there was bad feeling left over from the lawsuit, they (or at least one lawyer) might enjoy seeing Trump on trial.

6. Rachel said that last night
She had to use "effing" but said he said the real word.
Orange Horror is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Hard to believe there is a lawyer in the country willing to embarrass themselves for no money, and the notoriety will only go so far. |
