Trump took model of Air Force One from White House and has it on a coffee table at Mar-a-lago

President Donald Trump was so enthusiastic about the planned Air Force One redesign with its new paint job that he placed a scale model inside the Oval Office – and he took it with him to his Mar-a-Lago club when he left the White House.

He put a model of the redesigned plane inside the Oval Office, where it appeared in countless photographs of Trump with world leaders and became a conversation piece. Now, the model can be seen at Mar-a-Lago, where Trump has been living since January 20. An image of the display of the model was obtained by Politico.

'I view this as something to do with legacy,' Trump said in the interview, which was conducted in October 2019. 'Every time I look at it I'll say, "I had a lot to do with that." Just, really, a representation of our great country.'

While Trump can still take a peak at the new Air Force One and its new paint job should it materialize, his own $100 million Boeing 757-200, has mechanical issues.

The day he left office, the plane was in storage at Stewart Aiport north of New York City.

Photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com showed the plane, which was built in 1991, in need of significant engine repair.

I’m sure there’s a whole other department just for all the items in the White House. Plus security cameras in every room outside the working spaces for the Presidents and staff.

Even those in the previous administration will be on camera if they take anything.

Here's a lump of proof.

No. Taste.

Tasteless... Beyond, tasteless.

I'm dying to know who's portrayed as 'saints' in the 'fireplace'. Well, maybe it's better, I don't know. But, from here it looks like Princess Sparkle and Jar-Jar.

The iconic Raymond Loewy design has become entrenched in the eyes of the world, so why on earth would the Air Force, much less any administration with an ounce of historical sensibility change the livery?

Not to mention it apparently has low visibility characteristics when in flight, so it is harder to spot and therefore less of a target.

Re-painting it to look like a fucking commercial airliner just to satisfy Trumpy's ego would be an absolute disgrace.

Let him mentally masturbate to the idea that he got a free 747 model from Boeing (or whoever gave it to him) and that's as far as this stupid idea ever got.

He puts something completely inappropriate for the general decor of the room.

That room looks like the sort of thing that little girls envision their castles would look like when they’re playing “princess”.
