They're calling it Biden's first major legislative achievement....
Indeed....And coming within the first 30-40 days....Passed ONLY by Democrats.
Let's not forget that the ONLY major legislative achievement that Trump and the ReQublicans EVER had was the massive tax give-away to the wealthiest among us. Never let anyone forget - The Democrats are the party of the working people in this country....

11. Until we get rid of the filibuster. If enough Dems come out
in favor of doing so, the Repugs might think twice. Propose legislation that is wildly popular, bring that legislation to vote and we’ll see how long the idle threats about killing the filibuster remain idle threats. If we focus on what the majority of people want to see and pursue those things fervently, we will prevail. If an vote to abolish the filibuster so that Congress can do good things for people doesn’t succeed, we will win more seats in 22. One way or the other, good will prevail.

-Reopening ACA and expanding it
-Working to reunite children with parents and ending family separation policy -Buying more vaccines and the VA has done a great job vaccinating veterans There's much more but Biden/Harris have accomplished a lot Next up is getting rid of evil postmaster and saving USPS. |

12. And the Biden admin needs to ballyhoo those
accomplishments every chance it gets -/ Joe included. Promote and take credit of thes real accomplishments, unlike the phony horn blowing by the former administration/ ex-pResident. The contrast will be palpable.

Peace in the Middle East, grow the economy and the Right to Vote for every American. Nothing would surprise me now.

14. I'm inclined to agree. Biden could well end up the
absolute best in my lifetime by the end of his first term. That would be no small feat — I’ll be 74 by then, but it won’t surprise me based on what I’ve seen thus far.
Having said that, I have to admit I wouldn’t have said it a year or even 8 or 9 months ago. He has really won me over. (Caveat: that doesn’t mean I won’t express any disappointment down the road. Those expressions are invaluable to making real progress further down that road and I will always reserve the right to push for better.) |

16. We get 2 budget reconciliations this fiscal year.
Since a budget was not passed, Dems can use 2 budget reconciliations to pass legislation this fiscal year instead of one. They can still deliver plenty for the American people this fiscal year, then use the third one next fiscal year.
These 3 budget reconciliations, along with executive orders, can do a lot without Repugs. Govern well and deliver as much as possible before the 2022 midterms. |

19. GOP response
"Upon passage, Republicans issued statements complaining about the vote that will allow Democrats to take all the credit for the legislation."
