Question about Medicare HMO

I have a relative in South Florida who lives on SS only, and makes a little too much to get Medicaid help, but has a hard time making ends meet. She has Humana Medicare HMO, but is being enticed by Wellcare HMO. Does anyone know which of these is better for someone who's poor? Or is there a Medicare HMO that's better? Thanks for any suggestions.

1. You should be able to go to both companies' websites for her area

and compare premiums and benefits pretty easily...
For example here is a site where you can look up plans in her area by zip code..
https://www.humana.com/medicare/medicare-advantage-plans

And here is a link for Wellcare
https://www.wellcare.com/en/Florida/Need-A-Plan

3. Better is such a personal issue.

I've been on Wellcare for 3 years, it has the lowest out of pocket max of any Medicare HMO for which I qualify. I don't qualify for Medicaid. It includes some dental and glasses benefits plus transportation and no monthly premium, $0 copay for primary care and $15 specialist charges, meds inexpensive - all my usual meds are generic and free. Being an HMO, auths are involved, and that slows things down, and is aggravating, but that's the worst I can say about them and it's really not bad. Every year I review the Medicare booklet I get and every year Wellcare is the overall least expensive plan that is accepted at my primary care. Care Plus also sounds really good, but i can't use them because my primary care isn't contracted with them. That's my very first criteria.
