The comment from Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) was captured by a “hot mic” on C-SPAN after an event with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Politico reports.

Said Cardin: “Ultimately it’s going to be put together similar to the American Rescue Plan… Democrats will most likely have to use reconciliation.”

He added: “Republicans will only meet with you to a point.”

Lots of folks say only once per year around here, but if they are planning it again for this, it's gotta be more than once right?

It'll be amazing if they can FINALLY get an infrastructure bill through!!!!

Also saw this just now on wikipedia:

Congress can pass up to three reconciliation bills per year, with each bill addressing the major topics of reconciliation: revenue, spending, and the federal debt limit.

Would this mean they can technically do 6 if it is one per topic and they can do extras because they didn't do any last year?
