(36,145 posts)I know where the exits are at the Walmart, Kohls, Meijer's, Target, Lowes, UP Health System-Marquette Hospital, Dollar General and the local grocery store are. If not pressed for time, when I go to a establishment I'm not familiar with, I'll first find the exits.
I have a gun but I don't take it with me as I wouldn't draw it unless all avenues of escape are blocked, there is no concealment or cover, and it's a do or die situation and that's extremely unlikely to happen.

That is emblematic of the problem.
When does a person with a gun become an IDIOT with a gun? Well, it is a damned fine line.
