Are Republicans and Trumpsters beginning to see that Americans are not going to forget January 6th?

Is it finally dawning on them that the American people are not going to buy their alternative lies about what happened when their supporters assaulted our Capitol?

Are they losing confidence in their propaganda? Perhaps they can blame it on the loss of Limbaugh? They always need someone to blame.

Are any of them beginning to see the true nature of Donald Trump? Perhaps those that were ripped off for thousands of dollars by the Trump campaign?

Did they think that over time, the attack on our Capitol would be forgotten and everything would return to "normal"? They could continue their lies and division and Trump would return on a white horse to save them once again?

Or is reality beginning to seep into their consciousness?

They deny deny deny and it has worked for them, so they will continue. It will take a wipe out to change behaviour. They gained seats in the house so they see it as a winning strategy.

As they search for and find fewer and fewer believable conspiracies, many just give up and will become silent and passive as they were b4 ‘16.

At least that is what I am still hearing from the deplorables in my family circle.

So they will never publicly admit it.

and with a powerful propaganda network of influential media behind them, they will not give up. So far they have not succeeded, except with some Republicans (possibly up to 50% of them), but the jury is still out over the long term. America's future rests on them failing to gaslight the nation.

and frankly dumb enough to vote against their own best interests regularly.
Witness two of the best qualified candidates ever , Gore and Clinton, following successful Democratic administrations ,Clinton and Obama , then losing to poorly qualified GOP challengers Bush and "the other guy". Tragic, unpredictable and a glaring warning to not ever let the Dems take their foot off the pedal!!

Trump inciting his army of Neo-nazi stormtroopers to" take back" what was his, the brutality of the insurrectionists, the desecration of a sacred "temple", the gallows..nooses swaying in the wind awaiting a "proper hanging", and the nauseating swagger of "a job well done".....all on video and forever archived in our memories...the rancid republicans can repackage and sell the horror of 1/6 to their shrinking brain-dead sycophants, but we, history's witnesses, saw every second of a Trump inspired nightmare...we will never forget..
