"SNIP....
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's job approval rating among registered voters has dropped since Democrats took control of the White House and Senate after last year's elections.
The Kentucky Republican's favorability rating has also taken a hit in the months since Trump lost his bid for re-election to President Joe Biden.
A Morning Consult poll published in mid-February found that the registered voters surveyed rated their approval of McConnell's job performance 29 points lower than poll respondents did before the 2020 general election. Though that drop is significant, McConnell's favorability rating among registered voters has not dipped as much, although his average favorability has trended down from the low 30s to the low 20s since last fall.
A Politico/Morning Consult poll released in mid-October found McConnell's favorability among registered voters to be about 30 percent. That favorability dropped to 20 percent by the time a new Politico/Morning Consult poll was released in mid-March.

(10,291 posts)Mcconnell had absolutely stinky favourable ratings coming into his reelection last year. He won handily. Some states (and congressional districts) Qare in such a way that you could have a rock running as a Republican and Jesus reincarnate as the Democrat and the literal rock would win. Though IMO a rock would represent Kentucky better than Moscow Mitch.

(16,887 posts)just about sum up the thinking of so many.
Think about it:
"I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue in New York...." Yeah, that seems to have been proven to be true.
OVER 74 MILLION voted to bring back IQ45 for another term!
About the only thing left is for Gaetz to claim the quote "Suffer the little children to come unto me......"

In Kentucky, compared to the rest of the US, the average IQ is 65.
Tells you all you need to know, especially why that dumb fuck was re-elected.

(8,722 posts)He's on his last term. His health won't hold. He got the state of Kentucky to change the laws to make sure a Dem isn't appointed to his soon-to-be vacant seat. He's got his millions from decades of campaigning and pork. He could eat a baby live on TV and that wouldn't affect his gig in any way.

(12,482 posts)18% favorability before the election and won by 8 points, can he get reelected if he's at 8% favorability? Maybe Kentucky should spend more on public education.

(63,221 posts)- 10 points? How much lower can he possibly go? And how the hell did he get elected in the first place? I think an investigation is due into Mitch's recent "victory". This guy has to go. He has to go to prison. And so does his crooked wife.

(3,524 posts)But the GOP is slowly but surely changing that, it wont matter who votes, or what the vote count is/was, cause they have determined that they will decide which votes will be counted and whether or not youre in the right areas to vote, for voting.
