Arkansas attack on transgender kids has consequences - terrible consequences.

See attached link from NBC news. Families with transgender kids fleeing Arkansas so their kids can continue to receive treatments.

I have always known that no one has ever moved to Arkansas to have their consciousness raised - but this is embarrassing.

I'm sure there's a financial hardship for some, but maybe it's better for their well-being if transgender kids are removed from such an environment as 'Arkansas'.

Embarrassing though, indeed.

for everyone involved

These poor people need to take their child elsewhere. It will be a very long time before Arkansas will be a safe place for a transgender kid.

It's all too sad and embarrassing.

Shappley said she wants to see more action from President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Biden released an executive order last month affirming that Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects students from discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, but he hasn’t made a statement directly addressing the flurry of bills targeting transgender minors. [snip]

“Even if they can't do anything right now, tell us what your plan is,” Shappley said. “Kamala Harris had a trans flag outside of her office. OK, if you're an ally, why aren't you loudly telling my kid she's gonna be OK? Why aren’t you loudly saying, ‘You know what, Mrs. Shappley, you don't have to move; we’ve got your back.’ I want somebody to say something.”

I have to side with Shappley here. There's dire need for a stronger federal response. The number of bills popping up in state after state is not going to stop, unfortunately.

Move all the right wing fascist assholes and transphobia, woman hating, gay bashing, over religious, quanon to some of the southern states break away from those few southern states and deport them. And never let them go to our part of the nation.

You cannot exist with bullies, abusers criminals, bigots and control freaks without being harmed by them.

Let the pigs have thier right wing facist bullshit .

Than we'd be rid of all those stupid fuckers. If they try to invade we destroy them until they stop trying to come to our side. No mercy,no pity,no excuses.

Let them make thier bed and die in it.
