(471 posts)... just remember, you're not going to stop wearing masks and taking the usual precautions; even after you're 3 wks past your second dose --- but you will find that you FINALLY feel a bit empowered by not 'fainting away' with terror in a group of people.
I'm done and had a stupid grin on my face all the way home from my second shot -- I finally felt that I had some control over this virus.
Good on you for getting your shot -- and I send a hug --- and as FYI -- I had a dull aching arm after the first and a pronounced aching arm after the 2nd for a day or so --- but other than that ---- it was a yawn.

I actually like wearing masks cuz Im shy. Like staying home too. In no hurry to return to normalcy.

(17,119 posts)A little soreness on Pfriday. A little more this morning (gone now). And I know that my creaking immune system is cranking out anitbuddies even as we speak.
Other than the mild soreness and the stub of a third arm growing out my navel, I've noticed no aftereffects.
