Finally got an appt at a drive thru vax clinic Friday - Pfizer

It's been rough cuz we're so rural and there's been no appointments and supply is limited. Even Rite Aid and Safeway have been unavailable for weeks...

I have an autoimmune issue, and take immuno-suppressants, so I wonder how well my immune system is going to handle it. Not gonna lie, Im a lilttle scared.

Just gonna make sure I have tylenol on hand and stay hydrated ... maybe plan on resting thru the weekend...

I had J&J and was wiped out with fatigue for a few days.

You will be fine, but make sure you have plenty of good books and movies to tide you through the weekend, regardless of how you feel. And make sure you have your favorite foods ready to go so that you don't have to much work.

We all are entitled to take it easy for a couple of days.

All the very best!

Have a cuppa.

(with apologies to secondwind, good advice should be taken in moderation)

Also a good idea to skip the alcohol going in and until 48 hrs after the shot. Helps with the body's hydration levels.

Mrs Best has autoimmune issues and she tolerated both Pfizer shots well. I did OK on shot 1 (only had a sore arm). Shot 2 laid me out for 2-3 days with fatigue, body aches, and for one night, a low grade fever.

we can do it

Just had fatigue and sore arm. Probably would have slept all day without coffee.

I got both Pfizer jabs back in March. I barely felt the shots. The only side effects I experienced was a sore arm for a couple of days after each injection. I hope your experience is as good or better!

that receives the injection are two of the best tips from DU that I received. To stay hydrated I drank water, and Gatorade-zero.
