Joe Rogan walks it back

Fauci's Right, Young People Should Get Vaxxed ... 'I'm a F***ing Moron'

Rogan explained that he felt if you're a young healthy person, you don't need it -- something widely refuted by experts like Dr. Anthony Fauci -- but Joe now concedes what he said was misguided amid the pandemic.

I guess the backlash got to him.

exist in his brain somewhere. I still don't get why after more than a year of this pandemic and Dr. Fauci and others advising to get vaccinated, why he would say such a stupid thing?

It's just a matter of time now, Trump humpers. The trains to the re-education centers are on their way even as you read this!

advising them to get the shots, considering that this demographic group is now catching most of the flake from COVID 19...I guess in a way they've felt that they are the safest group around but now are finding out otherwise with the numbers going against them (the youth)...

9. I have no idea who Joe Rogan is, or why he would be important to anyone.

I'm out of touch I guess.

Wikipedia says he's involved with wrestling. Does anyone really worry about medical advice from this guy.

downloads/views per month (and likely far higher tbh). Regardless of all the dismissive snark (not you!) from some on here who self-admit to not knowing his show well, he is extremely influential in my age cohort (18 to 32). So many of my Swedish and British mates are fairly rabid fans. I am not one of them, although I have heard a lot of his shows.

18. Oh. I swore when I was your age I'd be aware of stuff...

...like this when I reached my age, but growing old is something of a revelation inasmuch as one learns that one's predictions about who one will become are notable only for their inaccuracy.

I make a point of stating my extreme respect for your generation, because the people I meet in it, mostly through my sons in their 20s, impress me to no end. I expect you to be a great generation because just as Joe Biden is required to be a great President by the challenges laid before him, so must it be for you for the challenges you will face because of us.

But it true that while everyone in my generation was not a blind oblivious self absorbed consumer with indifference to the future, even if most of us were, it is also not true that everyone in yours abhors and rejects ignorance.

Thank for explaining this to one very out of touch old man.

After he says the most bigoted and horrific things. He isn't admitting he is wrong, it's an act so he can make believe he is too dumb to have responsibility for anything. He has been doing this for decades.

A healthy 21 year old person should get the vaccine, period. And it's not just to help others, it helps them. Healthy 21 year olds can get sick and even die from Covid, or they can suffer long term health problems. The vaccine is safe, the risk to a healthy 21 year old from Covid is much greater than the risk of a vaccine.
