For anyone wondering why people get shot needlessly...

Well, of course there is the issue of racism and power tripping in some instances. And there's also the confusion caused by law enforcement. Look at this scene and the conflicting motions and gestures by the cops, a few of them with their guns drawn. We can't even hear the audio, which would surely have added to how disorienting it must be.

Then the police have a built in excuse.

"He was non-compliant. Posed a danger."

I get it if the person has a weapon and is charging toward an officer. Outside of that de-escalation should be priority #1.
