why Democrats don't see the seriousness of what's happening. The GQP is in the process of rigging the next elections, if they win fair and square, fine, but if they lose GQP controlled states they will attempt to flip the results.

The courts were packed with over 320 fascist judges, including the Supreme Court. Why aren't Democrats even trying to add SC justices, because that is what is needed?

I am not a patient person; we had an attempted coup and all signs point to GQP collusion. Why isn't the FBI investigating who authorized tours of the Capitol? Why isn't the FBI investigating who disabled the panic buttons in the desks of Congresspersons? No, instead we talk about a failure of structure.

Watch Chris Hayes, he gets it. He sees our democracy hanging by a thread.

I don't want to hear anyone criticize this post as being overreactive. Where is the push to eliminate the filibuster?

These GQP people, these insurrectionists, no I'm not talking about the ones who invaded the Capitol, I'm talking about elected politicians, these people have not been held accountable. Shit, they even block investigating what happened because they were involved, and Democrats talk about being fair on the select committee. People need to go to jail. Where is our DOJ to stop what is going on in Arizona? Federal election law violations. Now they want to continue the insurrection and do an audit in my state, Pennsylvania.

Is anyone with me or am I supposed to wait until these traitors steal the next election?

My only hope is that there’s much more going on behind the scenes than we know about.

Otherwise…

taking this seriously. What the hell are they up to? The god damn fire alarms should be shaking off the walls. Why are we so silent about voting reform - the pinnacle of our democracy?

I care about equality. I care about the climate. I care about all of our issues, but none more than our loss of democracy to a fascist regime, all because we seem to be out to lunch. Why didn’t we cancel the recess to get reforms on the table NOW? God help us all.

Come on, Democrat leadership, get off of your ass and save America!

The few insurrectionists who actually receive sentences, will (with Reptilian help) push their cases all the way up to SCROTUS. We need SCROTUS to be ready to keep them in the slammer forever.

Then get's out and the terror begins and it doesn't end until 1945 with millions dead and Europe in ruins. It would be nice to avoid all that, but...

At this point, who can be sure that Jan. 6th thus far hasn’t just emboldened them and their plans?

the wherewithal to do what’s needed to negate it … as a society, but I also wonder about it as a party. I can only hope.

I take some level of comfort in having lived 3 years in Africa in my younger years and knowing from that experience directly that people can survive and live quite happily if they so choose despite the political circumstances … at least if they don’t openly agitate them.
